Fluticasone model successfully used with large payer
 
GlaxoWellcome Inc. presented the 'Cost of Inhaled Corticosteroid' Model developed by Dymaxium Inc. as part of the fluticasone formulary presentation to Regence Blue Sheild with hopes keeping fluticasone on their formulary. Regence Blue Sheild, impressed with the fluticasone presentation, decided to keep FP on their formulary.

The model is an interactive meta-analysis that allows users to determine a population based on specific demographics to gauge costs and efficacy of Fluticasone versus other treatments.

Results from this model have been published in Clinical Therapeutics, December 2000.
