Dymaxium's team collaborated with Peter Neumann, Harvard School of Public Health, Mike Drummond of Innovus/York, Nicole Mittman and Nancy Risebrough of HOPE Research, and Liviu Niculescu on some innovative comparative analysis that involved Dymaxium's interactive models.
The work was extremely challenging, leading edge, and was recently accepted as a podium presentation for the ISPOR 10th Annual International Meeting. This also led to a concurrent abstract on BMJ guidelines, which has also been accepted at ISPOR.
The abstract titled: WHY DO DIFFERENT MODELS COME TO DIFFERENT CONCLUSIONS?: A STUDY OF EIGHT COST-EFFECTIVENESS ANALYSES COMPARING COX-2 SPECIFIC INHIBITORS (COXIBS) AND NON STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDS) has been accepted as a Podium Presentation during Podium Session I: Methods & Concepts, Monday, May 16, 2005,10:15 AM - 11:15 AM.
The abstract titled: TESTING THE BMJ CHECKLIST AS A QUALITY ASSESSMENT TOOL FOR ECONOMIC EVALUATIONS has been accepted as a Poster Presentation during the following session: Poster Session II, Tuesday, May 17, 2005, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
